Today the ex-guitarist of Beat Crusaders, Taro Kato, turns 35! Happy birthday, Taro-chan!

Nascido na cidade de Narashino, na província de Chiba, Taro tocava na banda FUNSIDE antes de entrar para o BECR. O músico destacava-se na banda por usar os mesmos trajes do guitarrista Angus Young, da banda ACDC, mas nos últimos anos usou um cosplay inspirado em Eddie Van Halen. Além disso, seu carisma e presença de palco eram inigualáveis: Taro imitava vozes femininas e sempre dava gás ao famoso おまんコール (omankoru = chamado da vagina). Durante alguns anos, Taro também foi vocalista e guitarrista do GALLOW, atual projeto solo de Hidaka. Atualmente, o Angus Young de Chiba é o guitarrista suporte da banda Ziggy e guitarrista e vocalista da banda Toquio Lequio Tequnos.


Born in the city of Narashino, in Chiba Prefecture, Taro played in FUNSIDE before joining Beat Crusaders. The musician stood out for wearing the same costumes of the guitarist Angus Young, from ACDC, but recently, he had used a costume inspired by Eddie Van Halen. Also, his charisma and stage presence were unique: Taro used to imitate female voices and always started the famous おまんコール (omankoru = call of the vagina). For some years, Taro had been the lead singer and guitarist of GALLOW, Hidaka's current solo project. Nowadays, the Angus Young from Chiba is the support guitarist of Ziggy and guitarist and vocalist of Tokyo Lequio Tequnos.

Hidaka no MONOBRIGHT!

Hoje o site oficial do MONOBRIGHT anunciou o "casamento" da banda com o ex-vocalista do Beat Crusaders, Hidaka, por meio de uma animação em flash na abertura da home page da banda. No entanto, o ex-frontman do Beat Crusaders ficará restrito à guitarra e ao teclado. Um desperdício diante de inigualável talento vocal! Mas não desanimem: Gallow ainda está na ativa! *o*


Today the official MONOBRIGHT website announced the "marriage" with the Beat Crusaders' ex-lead singer , Hidaka, through a flash animation in the opening of the home page of the band. However, the ex-frontman of Beat Crusaders will be restricted to guitar and keyboard only. Such a waste of a unique vocal talent! But never give it up: Gallow is still active! *o*

A união foi oficializada juntamente com o anúncio do novo mini-álbum da banda, intitulado 淫ビテーション. O nome do mini álbum, pronunciado Inbiteshon, é um trocadilho com a palavra invitation, do inglês, que significa "convite", com o kanji de obsceno (que se lê in, em japonês), o que dá o duplo sentido de "convite obsceno".


The union has been established with the announcement of the new mini-album, titled 淫 ビテーション. The name of the mini album, pronounced Inbiteshon, is a pun with the word invitation, in english, and the kanji of obscene (which is read in, in japanese), which gives the double meaning of "obscene invitation".

Fotos da semana: Taro desmascarado!

Demorou um pouco, mas o guitarrista Taro Kato seguiu os passos de Hidaka e Mashita e resolveu mostrar o rosto também!

Taro lançará no dia 12 de dezembro (dia de seu aniversário! *o*) uma camiseta baseada no seu próprio cosplay usado nos shows do Beat Crusaders, inspirado no clássico traje listrado de Eddie Van Halen. Para promovê-la, Taro fez algumas fotos mostrando parcialmente o rosto!

It took a while, but the guitarist Taro Kato followed Hidaka and Mashita and decided to show his face too!

Taro will launch on December 12th (his birthday! *o*) a t-shirt based on his cosplay used in Beat Crusaders's concerts, inspired by the classic striped Eddie Van Halen's suit. To promote it, Taro has been photo shooted showing partially his face!

Ontem, em seu Twitter, Taro postou uma foto com dois membros do Ziggy, na cidade de Matsuyama, na província de Ehime, onde eles se apresentam hoje à noite, no Livehouse Matsuyama Salonkitty.

Yesterday on his Twitter, Taro posted a photo with two members of Ziggy, in the city of Matsuyama, in Ehime prefecture, where they perform live tonight at Livehouse Matsuyama Salonkitty.

Lost Crusaders: Give It Up

Novidades do Lost Crusaders!

Foi confirmado ontem, no site oficial do Beat Crusaders, o lançamento do DVD/Bluray Lost Crusaders em 15 de dezembro. O "último item", como a banda tem chamado o DVD, contará com as filmagens do último show da banda, no festival de verão Otodama, do show secreto no Shimokitazawa Shelter, o PV da música Acid-Color Zoo e diversos vídeos e documentos nos quais os membros falam mais sobre o fim da banda. O DVD terá 100 minutos e o Bluray 300 minutos e ambos acompanharão um CD com o áudio do show no Otodama. Veja abaixo a capa e o conteúdo!


Yesterday was confirmed by Beat Crusader´s official site the release of the DVD/Bluray Lost Crusaders on December 15th. The "last item", as the band has called the DVD, will feature the live footage from the last show of the band at Otodama´s summer festival, the secret show at Shimokitazawa Shelter, the Acid-Color Zoo PV and lots of videos and documents in which the members talk about the end of the band. The DVD version will have 100 minutes and the Bluray version 300 minutes, and both will come with a CD with the audio show in Otodama. See the cover and content below!
